Undifferentiated Schizophrenia is a subtype of Schizophrenia known for its interchanging symptoms of other subtypes, which distorts the thinking, behavior, and reality perception of a person. It also includes problems in expression and emotions, properly known as “negative symptoms.” Negative symptoms have two (2) domains: the Apathy domain (avolition, anhedonia, asociality) and the Diminished Expression domain (alogia, blunted affect). These symptoms greatly affect and reduce the quality of life of patients and are often the source of distress, poor functioning, reduced cognitive performance, and inability to feel pleasure, thus further exacerbating their condition
