Guidelines

  • Abstracts should be no more than 300 words, formatted in Microsoft Word/pdf, and single-spaced, using size 12 Times New Roman font for content & use size 14 Times New Roman font for heading.
  • Abstracts must include sufficient information for reviewers to judge the nature and significance of the topic, the adequacy of the investigative strategy, the nature of the results, and the conclusions.
  • The abstract should summarize the substantive results of the work.
  • It should have an introduction, methodology, results and conclusion.
  • It should contain picture of your project work and brief explanation of figure under picture
  • If your title includes scientific notation, Greek letters, bold, italics, or other special characters/symbols, do make sure they appear correctly.
  • List all additional co-authors, whether they are or are not presenting, if applicable.
  • List additional faculty mentors, if applicable.
  • Submit your abstract to provided mail id.
  • Abstract should be prepared as per the template attached.

About the Review Process

  • Your abstract will undergo a peer review by the International Scientific Committee within one week after its receipt.
  • Results of the abstract review will be sent to the author within one week of submission.
  • Acceptance or rejections will be sent to you with reviewer comments.
  • If revision is required, the revised abstract must be sent back within two days.
  • If your abstract is accepted, you will be invited to register for the conference.

Important Information for Co-Authors

  • Please note a single registration permits only one person to attend the conference.
  • If the co-authors would like to attend the conference their registration and payment is required to be made independently.
  • Certificates will be issued for co-authors upon their registration/payment for the conference.

Guidelines for E-Poster Presentation:

  • The E-poster presentations will be presented on a computer screen during the conference and not on a regular poster board.
  • The uploaded E-poster should contain the same title, order of authors and affiliation details as the submitted abstract.
  • Electronic poster can combined with up to 6 slides.
  • Each E-Poster presentation has an allotted time of 5 minutes including a brief discussion.
  • The E-poster system allows you to save a presentation on site either on disk-on key or send it by e- mail.
  • All e-Posters should be prepared in English.

Size of E-Poster:

  • Pixels: the minimum recommended size (format WxH) is 1125 x 2000px and the maximum is 2250 x 4000px.
  • DPI 300 pixels/inch.
  • File Size: the maximum file size is 4 Megabytes (4MB).
  • File Format: Save your file as a PPT, PDF, PNG or JPG in order to send your e-Poster.
  • Media: Pictures, graphs and tables can be included in the e-Poster.
  • Multimedia: videos and music cannot be included in the e-Poster.

Guidelines

  • The total time allotted to each speaker is 20 minutes. You should plan to speak for 17 minutes and leave 3 minutes for questions.
  • Presentations should only be given as PowerPoint.
  • Prepare your presentation as a single file to run on PC as a Microsoft Office PowerPoint Presentation format file.
  • All presentations must run on the Windows operating system.
  • Bring one copy of your presentation to the conference on a USB media storage device.
  • Conference organizers will load all presentations on conference computers only.
  • All presenters will be given the opportunity to check their presentations on-site, before their presentation time.
  • You are encouraged to review your presentation at least 24 hours before your scheduled presentation, especially if it has any special or technically complex elements.
  • Remember your presentation is limited to 17 minutes plus 3 minutes for questions. You will not be able to extend your time if you have technical problems during your talk.

Advice on Production of PowerPoint Presentations

  • The presentation must be in standard 4:3 ratio and not widescreen 16:9 ratio because that is the size of the projector screens.
  • Use Arial or Times New Roman fonts for all slides.
  • Keep your presentation as simple as possible to avoid hardware and software conflicts.

At the Conference

  • Check your presentation in the speaker preview room at least 24 hours prior to your session.
  • Arrive at your session 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the SESSION (not your presentation).

Guidelines for Poster Presentations

The poster should be a visual presentation of your submitted abstract and should meet the following criteria:

Size: The poster must be 2*3 feet (Width 2 and Height 3) in portrait orientation.

Lettering: The poster should be easily readable at a distance of two meters.

Title: Include the title of your presentation at the top of the poster. Your name, School or Center should also be displayed on the poster.

Content:

  • The message that your poster contains should be clear, concise and understandable.
  • After the title, the most important panels are the Introduction, Methodology and the Conclusion should be clear and visually attractive.
  • Results should be presented graphically if possible. Avoid large tables of data.
  • Use pictures, symbols and color. Figure legends are essential and should be short but informative. If using graphs, they should have a short heading.
  • A poster presentation will be hosted in the Poster display area for 8+2 minutes.
  • We kindly request Poster presenters to stand at or near by their poster for at least the first 30 minutes of the poster reception. This will allow you the opportunity to talk with delegates about your poster and answer questions regarding your work.
  • The video should be not more than 20 minutes and continuous.
  • Presenters should take up the majority of the center of the screen.
  • Video can be shot using any device capable of recording standard or high-definition video.
  • Be certain that your video is free from misspellings, inaccuracies, and misappropriations.
  • Videos that do not adhere to these requirements will not be reviewed.
  • Video may be of course, shot in any format but it must be converted to either MP4 or M4V format before submission to conference.
