Dr. Hans von Holst

Professor in Neuronics Sweden, Hans von Holst received his Medical Doctor´s degree in 1976 and specialist in Neurosurgery 1982 at Karolinska University Hospital. In 1985 he earned his PhD and Associate Professorship in Neurosurgery, Clinical Neuroscience at Karolinska Institutet. During 1991-1996 he was appointed as Chairman of the Dept of Neurosurgery and Division Manager of the Neuroclinics at Karolinska University Hospital, respectively. He has been appointed as senior neurosurgeon from 1974 to 2015. Between 1995-2015 he was appointed as Professor in Neuroengineering at the Royal Institute of Technology. He has published around 140 original papers in reputed journals, reviews and books and has been serving as an editorial board member in several journals

Dr. Nora Cavaco

Psychologist and Hypnotherapist, Portugal, Professor Nora Cavaco has two BSc’s degrees, one in Childhood Education and a second one in Educational Psychology and Rehabilitation. Professor Cavaco has also a Master in Educational Practices and in Educational Psychology in the Specialty of Special Educational Needs. All of these four degrees were awarded by the University of Algarve. Moreover, Prof. Nora Cavaco holds a post-graduation degree in Neuropsychology and Dementias by the University of Barcelona and a second post-graduation degree in Neuroscience Applied to Education by FASP University, Faculty of Social Services in Sao Paulo, Brazil.Currently, she is a member of SICA International Research Group at University of Huelva.

Dr. Don Kulasiri

Prof. Don Kulasiri obtained the BSc Eng (honours) at University of Peradeniya (1980) Sri L Lanka and MS and PhD in Engineering at Virginia Tech, USA, in 1988 and 1990, respectively. He joined Lincoln University, Christchurch, New Zealand in 1990 as a lecturer and was appointed to a personal Chair in 1999 by the university. He founded the Centre for Advanced Computational Solutions (C-fACS) at Lincoln University in 1999. He has been: a Visiting Professor, Integrated Systems Biology Cente/Centre for Mathematical Biology, University of Oxford, UK (Jan – June, 2008, Nov 2010, June 2013), a Visiting Fellow, Princeton University, New Jersey (Jan-June, 2004; July 2006) , a Visiting Professor to Institute of Scientific Computing, Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany (since 2001), a Visiting Scholar, Stanford University (Jan-June, 1998), a visiting member of the Centre for Mathematical Biology, Oxford University, a member of Modelling and Simulation Society of Australia and New Zealand and Sigma Xi honour society; and a Panel member of Mathematics, Information Science and Technology (MIST) panel for the PBRF 2012 quality evaluations, Govt of New Zealand.

Dr. MORRIS BERSIN

Dr.MORRIS BERSIN – Consultant Psychiatrist M.B.ChB. (Rhod), F.F. Psych (S.A.) FRANZCP. Dr Bersin qualified in 1975 and has been practicing as a consultant psychiatrist since 1994. For the past 11, years Dr Bersin has worked privately at the Evandale Practice located in Bundall on the Gold Coast, Queensland. Dr Bersin is an adult psychiatrist but also has a special interest in gender assessment and management of young persons, adolescents and adults. Dr Bersin was one of the keynote speakers at the WPATH Conference in Amsterdam, in 2016, on the theme of Gender Incongruence in Children.

Dr. Osama M. Ibrahim

Prof. Dr. OSAMA M. IBRAHIM, Clinical Pharmacy Dept., College of Pharmacy, Tanta University, Tanta, Egypt. I got his Master Degree & Ph.D. Degrees in Clinical Pharmacy from the University of the Pacific, School of Pharmacy, Stockton, California, U.S.A. I was the first faculty staff to hold a Ph.D. degree in Clinical Pharmacy in Egypt. I worked as clinical pharmacy professor in addition to a cardiovascular consultant in Riyadh & Jeddah, KSA. I Established Clinical Pharmacy Diploma as well as a PHARM. D. Program in Egypt. My research interest is in the area of Cardiovascular Disorders, Applied Pharmacokinetics, and Drug Information, and Clinical Trials & research

Gerald C. Hsu

GERALD C. HSU received an honorable PhD in mathematics and majored in engineering at MIT. He attended different universities over 17 years and studied seven academic disciplines. He has spent 20,000 hours in T2D research. First, he studied six metabolic diseases and food nutrition during 2010 to 2013, then conducted his own diabetes research during 2014 to 2018. His approach is “quantitative medicine” based on mathematics, physics, optical and electronics physics, engineering modeling, signal processing, computer science, big data analytics, statistics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. His main focus is on preventive medicine using prediction tools. He believes that the better the prediction, the more control you have.

Suchi Deshpande

MS. SUCHI is an experienced International Pre School Principal/Manager who picked up Laughter exercises from many coaches around the world. She then designed ‘Laughter Therapy’ which is being used in many places such as hospitals and Senior Activity Centres. She provides individual and group therapy in educational and home settings.
